Grade 3K
Mrs. Jamie Learman

I graduated with my BS in Education, and an emphasis in Spanish, in 2007 from Martin Luther College. I previously taught at Diving Peace Lutheran School grades 3-5 and Spanish for 1-8th grade. I am currently the teacher for the 3 year old classroom at St. John’s Lutheran School. My passion is for early learning and working with our youngest learners. I enjoy this area of teaching so much that I continue my education through online classes with Martin Luther College and some satellite courses.

I believe that each child is unique in his or her own way of learning and should be taught as an individual. In my classroom you will see lots of playing and fun because this is a child’s most important work. George Bernard Shaw stated it best when he said;

“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing”.

It is my goal as an Early Childhood teacher to foster a love for learning by appealing to the children’s playful and creative side. Therein lies the keys to success.

"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer." ~ 2 Samuel 22:2
