A LITTLE ABOUT US
St. John’s Lutheran School in Lomira operates a 4K program for children who are 4 years old and a 5K (Kindergarten) program for children who are 5 years old by Sept 1. Our program is designed to meet the special needs of young children, helping them develop spiritually, academically, socially, physically, and emotionally. Most importantly, our program teaches God’s Word to His little lambs, and those Bible truths are applied throughout the curriculum.
The programs are run in a multiage setting with the 5K students coming everyday from 8:05am-3:05pm and the 4K students joining them on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from approximately 8:05am-11:00am. The students benefit from small class sizes that offer more one on one teaching. They are taught by Mrs. Jennifer Adelmeyer, who has over 15 years experience in early childhood. She is aided by Carol Liubakka, a retired school librarian, who has enjoyed many years of experience working with children.
Bussing for 4K and 5K is available for students who live in the school district of Lomira outside the village of Lomira.
You may view a sample of the 4K and 5K handbooks here.
