St. John’s Church Library

St. John’s Church Library plays an important role in our church’s ministry by providing materials which allow our members and guests to grow in the knowledge of their Savior and inspire them in leading Christian lives.
The library is open anytime the church or school is open.  It is located just off the fellowship hall in a beautifully decorated multi-purpose room.  The library consists of over 1100 items which include books, videos, DVDs, CDs, and magazines.  The extensive collection offers doctrinal books, general items for spiritual encouragement, fiction and non-fiction books, books for teens and many children’s items.
St. John’s Church Library is a member of WELS-CLO , Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod-Church Librarian’s Organization.

Please direct any comments or questions to Sherry,
our Church Librarian.

Library materials may be checked out by filling out one’s name and the current date on the book card and placing it in the box provided on the counter. Non-members are asked to include their phone number. Magazines do not need to be checked out.

Videos/DVDs should be returned within two weeks. Books and other materials may be kept as long as needed, but should be returned promptly when finished.  Book and video/DVD return drops are located just inside the door to the church library.
The card catalog or the subject list binder may be used to find a particular title, author, or subject. Books, videos/DVDs, and CDs are arranged numerically according to the Dewey decimal system.  Categories and age levels are designated with shelf labels and color dots to make it easier to find materials.
