Christ in Action in the Lives of His Believers

"Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same."
(Luke 3:11)

Help Our Brothers and Sisters in Panama City, FL

Our WELS church, Amazing Grace, and its parsonage were completely destroyed in Hurricane Michael. (Amazing Grace is currently being served by Ret. Pastor Jerry Enderle from our area!) Many people’s lives, especially our fellow Christian’s, have been drastically impacted by this, and in the Carolinas by Hurricane Florence recently before it. Today, you have the opportunity to care for the Body of Christ in its hurt and need.

- Continue to keep all those undergoing physical and spiritual suffering and trial in your prayers.

- Consider donating to Christian Aid and Relief (WELS’ organization providing disaster relief and humanitarian aid) by clicking here.

- Consider heading south for a time (from a few days to a few months) to participate in the rebuild efforts through Builders for Christ/WELS Kingdom Workers (mobilizing believers to go and serve). WKW coordinates to provide housing/food for its volunteers. Find out more information or sign-up to volunteer by clicking here.

- Consider making a donation to re-supply Amazing Grace with hymnals so that they can resume worshiping comfortably once again. This effort is coordinated by Northwestern Publishing House, and you can donate on Friday, Nov. 9 from 9am to 6pm, and Saturday, Nov. 10 from 9am to 2pm, by calling 800-662-6022.

“At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need.”
